Let me say that I already use chemicloud to host my minor projects, develop projects, and so on. I don't use shared hosting for my main sites, but if price is a factor, then shared hosting is the cheapest option.

When it comes to shared hosting, you usually get a huge amount of features, some extra fun, sometimes unlimited bandwidth, unlimited storage, unlimited sites, +++ the list continues. 

Hostgator is another provider that I have written a review of, but I don't think it's even close. Chemicloud is the new king of shared WordPress hosting.

In this review, I will focus on the WordPress turbo plan. When writing reviews, I always choose the plan I think is worth the most.

So, the cheapest option at $2.95/mo doesn't include extra speed, something that's extremely important when it comes to shared hosting. You also get Redis & AP /OPCache with the Turbo plan. When it comes to security, you get Malware detection and removal, something the two other plans don't offer, and you get Imunify360 Proactive Defense. On top of this, you get more speed vs. the other plans since you get more CPU cores (3 cores) and 3GB of RAM vs 1 and 2 for the other two plans.

All this for only $2 extra per month.

You also have the option to supercharge your hosting with double-up with CPU and RAM power, but I don't think it's worth it. When trying to compare different hosting providers, choosing the hosting plans closest to each other is essential. For example, comparing a shared hosting plan to a dedicated server is unfair.
Since I am focusing on shared WordPress hosting, I will only list the hosting providers offering similar products.

I have only included the one I find most interesting to compare with and picked the plan I think is the most comparable.

So, this is one of my favorite stages of my review—time to test chemicloud with movearoundsite. Movearoundsite is a test site I use to test all web host providers. I upload the same site to a different host and then test the speed.

First-speed test

This is something I often see on shared hosting. When you do pagespeed test you often get different results. In this example we are going from good to ok. However, I always optimize a website with a cache plugin. WP Rocket or Litespeed cache plugin that's free. But Litespeed cache plugin only work if you are hosted on litespeed webservers. Since Chemicloud uses litespeed we can optimize setup with the LS plugin.

Litespeed was included for me, if not download it.

Once activated you can head over to the litespeed cache plugin, you should see it on the left side (admin bar). There are loads of settings you can click on but they also offer presets:

This is really cool since you don't need knowledge or spend time on optimization since you can just click apply and test the different presets.

I did run the test multiple times and I got 99/100. Mobile score was around 95, thats insane.

Also NOTE that I did not setup cloudflare CDN or QUIC.cloud CDN that you get for free since score was already 100. IF you choose chemicloud I recommend that you setup a CDN, not just for speed but for protection agains DDos attacks as an example.

Do you see now why I recommend Chemicloud? Brilliant support, loads of features, and extreemly low price point. You might ask yourself why botter go for a more expensive hosting provider. The answer is you will get more power, so if you run a high-quality site and you want the best then you should go for managed wordpress at rocket.net or perhaps you run a e-commerce site where you want to be safe and sure that you get the best hosting solution there is then yeah, go for rocket.net or servebolt.

One last NOTE: ALL cache plugins might cause problems for your site. One problem can be Elementor conflict, where you cannot load Elementor to edit your content. If errors occur, try to lower the cache plugin settings. Litespeed has Essential settings you can try, and with WP Rocket, you can just uncheck one at a time to debug. CDN without a cache plugin is also a safer way to go if you experience problems.

Chemicloud offers live support 24/7. I think most of us will use their live chat function. There is one host provider I know of that can match chemicloud, and that's rocket.net. They are the only two that get a perfect 10/10. To get a 10 they need to help you almost in the same second you ask for it. So when you click on live chat and a bot greets you then that's not help in a few seconds. What you want is a human to answer something rocket and chemicloud offer. Click and they are there within seconds.

Since I am using chemicloud I often found myself in need of support. Fast support means I don't have to spend time trying to figure things out, I simply ask them and I have the answer direct.

I am going to be really honest now. Chemicloud is the best-shared host I know of. I would not pick them for my e-commerce site or main sites where you need the most power, then you should pay more and get a more powerful solution. But if you like to start up with a hosting provider where you can have unlimited sites and loads of features, fast servers, and excellent support then chemicloud should be your pick nr 1.
